UNIQUE PC DESIGN

"UNIQUE PC DESIGN"

Before, during, and after college, I put my skills to good use through "UNIQUE PC DESIGN". Here I can assist the everyday user. I am not Microsoft-certified but I am good enough to be. Anyone, regardless of experience, can run a PC. It is a lot easier to learn than most people think.

NETWORK SERVER & 10+ PCs CONNECTED TOGETHER FOR FUN

When I was in college, another student and I built & programmed a network server and hooked in 4 personal computers to it. A short time later, other nearby students wanted to join our "little" network. We plugged in up to 7 more individual computers. At any given time there were 5 - 12 PCs on our network, 24-7. There were also up to 4 shared printers. I was the sole administrator of the entire network (Novell NetWare 4.11 as the domain controller & Win98 on all the PCs). I also designed, built, & programmed 6 computers on that network.

COMPUTER NETWORK LABORATORY

I have acquired some older computer components which will be utilized to build a network and servers. My "laboratory" consists of one desk in my bedroom (my CPU takes most of the room), a desk in the living room, & a table in the dining room. I use only demagnetized (magnesium-tipped) tools & a few other specialized items: neon flashlight, magnifying glasses, unused makeup brushes, mini-mirror, old toothbrushes, & etc. My home network currently consists of: 1 - AMD Athlon XP, 1 - AMD K6-3, a network printer, an Internet gateway/router, & an Internet videophone to help deaf people commincate with one another. Very helpful for deaf people. All AMD's are using Win XP Pro & RJ-45 (TPE) cables plugged into a 4-port gateway/router.
